About Qurio
The name Qurio comes from “curiosity” and the Latin curio — a rare, fascinating object worthy of a cabinet of wonders. In the 16th century, European nobles collected natural oddities, scientific instruments, and preserved specimens in elaborate Wunderkammern. Qurio continues that tradition.
We create illuminated resin diorama art — miniature worlds sealed in crystal-clear epoxy resin. Each piece captures a fragment of nature: root systems, forest canopies, mushroom gardens, coral formations. Preserved forever, glowing from within.
Forty million years ago, tree resin sealed insects, leaves, and tiny ecosystems — creating amber. Amber is nature's original time capsule, a window into a vanished world. Our process mirrors this ancient phenomenon: organic elements, carefully collected and arranged, sealed in layers of crystal-clear resin.
Every piece is handcrafted in our Istanbul studio. From 3D-printed miniatures to hand-painted details, from multi-layer resin pours to integrated LED lighting and walnut burl framing — each step is performed by hand. No two pieces are alike. Every work is numbered 1/1 and includes a certificate of authenticity, NFC verification card, and full provenance record.
